RP-5HDD2535I allows for 5x 2.5” HDDs/SSDs or 2x 2.5” HDDs/SSDs and 1x 3.5” HDD.

Today we will be highlighting some of iStarUSA Group's innovative and reliable products, iStarUSA's Mini-ITX cases and Raidage's JBOD & RAID storage towers.
iStarUSA's Mini-ITX case series is perfect for system builders or people who are good at configuring systems into compact space. The Mini-ITX series offers a variety of designs and functionality that covers a wide range of industrial and personal applications. The cases are designed to allow optimal airflow so that the system can be low maintenance. In addition, these cases supports various power options. The iStarUSA Mini-ITX series also supports storage features with the usage of mobile drive cages that convert 5.25" bays into hot-swap hard drive slots.
Raidage's EAGE series of storage towers has variety of interfaces, such as SFF-8088, eSATA, eSATA with Port Multiplier, and USB 3.0. Each tower has a semi-transparent door with key lock to prevent unauthorized access to hard drives, and allows users to see system LED indicators. Thumbscrews on the hard drive carriers secure HDDs to eliminate accidental hard drive removal.

The aluminum embedded chassis series features a compact size, fanless cooling design, and 2.5” hotswappable bays. This series' chassis is mini-ITX motherboard compatible and is also wall-mountable. Not only does the aluminum front panel provide a sleek look, the aluminum heatsink-type housing is perfect for ultra-low noise, power-saving, and space-limited applications.
XEAL's line of dual AC input mini redundant industrial power supplies is available in 400W, 600W, 550W, 700W, 800W, and 1000W configurations. These power supplies offer your servers and workstations zero downtime with 400W, 600W, 550W, 700W, 800W, and 1000W power redundancy to be the reliable and cost effective power supplies needed by all business-class systems. Active PFC, temperature control fan, hot-swappable power modules, and load-sharing function provide ultimate precision power and safety protection for all electronic equipment. We at iStarUSA Group would like to give you a sneak-peek at the behind-the-scenes manufacturing process of how your favorite chassis are made!
First up is the Laser Cutting Machine, an automated process that uses laser to cut materials, yielding high precision. It is able to cut various shapes and through thicker materials.
Next is the NCT, an automatic punching machine that has high flexibility and efficient processing of metal stampings. The operator inputs the design information and the number of pieces. The machine is fully automated once the production is initiated. This is used for small and medium quantity orders and where laser cutting machines are inefficient.
The high-speed pressing machine is a method that includes punching, coining, bending and several other ways of modifying metal material. Hard tooling is created and placed into the pressing machine. When the press moves down, the tooling closes and performs the stamping operation. With each stroke of the press, a completed part is removed from the tooling. The advantage of this method is that it can shorten the production cycle time, making it the most cost-effective method when dealing with large quantity production.
Next up is the Bending machine. Its purpose is to assemble a bend on a work piece. Programming is done on a PC by inputting engineering data. The bending tool can be constructed to adjust the bending angle by reference, stroke measurement or angle measurement.
Using a burring machine, we put the material through a tapping and spiking process. Once the plug has been properly positioned, it’s locked into place with an apparatus. This prevents any plug movement and ensures it’s done at a perfect 90 degree angle.
Spot welding is one of the processes that we use to weld together multiple metal pieces by heat. Our operator can program the machine to determine how much heat and energy is delivered to the welding spot by matching the sheet’s material properties, thickness and other qualities.
The second process that we use to put together multiple metal pieces is pop riveting. This is one of the most reliable types of fastening that is done by a rivet gun. This method ensures a tight connection and can be replaced for maintenance.
Lastly, we put our products through various metal surface treatments. It’s a process in which a physical barrier is created to protect the metal against a corrosive environment and to prepare the parts for painting.

JBOD enclosures are great for users who like flexibility in their workflows, want tighter control of their data storage and backup mechanisms, or would simply like to reduce the clutter of multiple external disk drives in their work area.

iStarUSA has created a new convergence of ODD's and HDD's that are tool-less, screw-less, and tray-less.
iStarUSA has created a new convergence of ODD's and HDD's that are tool-less, screw-less, and tray-less. Since most PC software is still distributed through CDs and DVDs, we've designed the new T-5K drive cages to maximize server space, as they are equipped not only with caddies for your hard drives, but also a slim optical drive bay to be able to read and write discs. This line of cages allows your server or workstation chassis to be more useful and practical.
With hot-swap technology, these cages also allow you to interchange HDD's while the machine's still running. They're equipped with a new trusty push-bar design to open the cage door. Because when the computer's running and your optical disc is spinning, the last thing you want to do is have to shut your system off just to change out your hard drive.
For those whose equipment regularly undergo high turbulence, anti-vibration silicon rubbers on both sides of these cages are there to absorb the shaking from their environment. Using ABS plastic for the front panel and stainless steel for the cage body, we've designed our cages to protect against the plating process and rust problems after long-term use so that years down the line, they'll be looking as sharp and sturdy as when you first set your eyes on them.

We're Rolling Out Two New Hot-Swap Drive Cages
This month, we're lining up two exciting new products to hit the market hot-swapping. Both the BPN-2535DE-SA and BPU-124DE-SS are internal hot-swap drive cages that are compact and cost-effective for use with desktop, server case, and rackmount chassis.

Both the BPN-2535DE-SA and BPU-124DE-SS are internal hot-swap drive cages that are compact and cost-effective for use with desktop, server case, and rackmount chassis. They're compatible with SATA III, boasting up to 6 Gbps transfer rates. The drive cages are made up of aluminum material that provides excellent heat dissipation required for high performing SATA drives. Both are equipped with a key lock to ensure secure storage, and LED indicators for power and HDD access. And they're lookin' stylish with those red stripes adorning the case.
The BPN-2535DE-SA houses an internal 3.5" drive cage with two 2.5" hard drives, providing extra storage within a compact design to fit many application needs. Easy and quick installation makes it the newest companion for your tower or rackmount chassis. The unit complies with SATA I, II, and III for a maximum transfer rate of up to 3 Gbps for SATA-II, and 6 GBps for SATA-III. The BPN‐2535DE‐SA has an auto-eject feature when you open the cover--talk about hot-swap heaven.
The BPU-124DE-SS has one 5.25" drive bay built to house four 2.5" hard drives, and comes with one SATA Power and two DATA connectors. Constructed in light weight durable aluminum, the 2.5" Disk Array BPU-124DE-SS chassis is well ventilated with two cooling fans to ensure effective heat dissipation from all 4 drives. A Rackmount Cabinet Fit for a Pro..A Mac Pro

The BPU Series and T-7M1-SATA have undergone some changes, and they've come back more polished and modern than ever before.
The BPU-230SATA, BPU-340SATA, and BPU-350SATA are now better equipped for the military, data storage, surveillance, and media production industries with all new features and design improvements. All three models have been upgraded with a temperature-controlled fan. Every time the power turns on, the fan spins for 10 seconds and then stops, running again automatically when the temperature reaches 40ºC. There are now two speeds: auto and high, as opposed to low and high, with an overall quieter disposition. The alarm buzzer can be fully disabled until the next reboot, which will be a relief to many users. The BPU-340SATA and BPU-350-SATA models now also both use a half-sized PCB to enhance air flow for better cooling.
As for the T-7M1-SATA, the previous silver body has gone all black, while the tray is interchangeable between the new and old versions. The Power LED now lights to blue when lit, and HDD activity LED lights to purple when lit (as opposed to the old green and orange, respectively, in the original models).

We've attended a record high of six tradeshows this year, made plenty of lasting partnerships, and launched some sweet products that have made industry professionals' mouths water. Here's a recap of our corporate landmarks this year.
It's that time of year again! Holiday music, strings of lights, winter wonderlands (or wannabe ones here in Cali), itchy sweaters and holiday pies, and year-end-reviews. It's been quite the 2012 for America and the world, and here at iStarUSA it's been no different. We've attended a record high of six tradeshows this year, made plenty of lasting partnerships, and launched some sweet products that have made industry professionals' mouths water. Here's a recap of our corporate landmarks this year:
First up in the 2012 spotlight were ourmobile drive cages, which came rocking the cool aluminum of new-age technology. Much coveted this year were ourBPN-DE350SS and BPN-DE350SS drive cages. Our chassis then came along and strutted their stuff, exhibiting their ultra-compatibility by housing industry-famous ASUS and Gigabyte motherboards. OurClaytek cabinetsalso brought flexibility back this year. They stood out among industry cabinets as being able to house various name-brand chassis, including those from Dell, HP, and IBM. We also introduced the D-230HN-T and the rest of its series of compact chassis, dancing in a full variety of tray and trayless options and 2U and 3U sizes.
Needless to say, we tried our best to offer something for everyone this year. The WS Series shined in the audiovisual industry as the perfect way to transport data from set to post-production. For small office environments, we came out with the WUT-110B Simple 1U Wall Mount Bracket, helping our customers to save considerable space. Our Raidagestorage towers also stood tall this year, towering as high as 20 drive bays and 26 inches tall and offering the highest levels of customization. Our mini-ITX series then came waltzing in, the D-118V2-ITX-WB and D-213-MATX-WB sporting cool wood bezels to fit right into home entertainment systems.
And of worthy note: our IS-1U50PD8G, a 500W power supply ranked at 80 Plus GOLD and a 1U form factor. Right behind it came the TC-500PD3 power supply to fit perfectly into a tower. And our mobile drive cages came back to shine as they housed ADATA's cutting-edge and much coveted SSD drives. And last came the unforeseen: we stepped into innovative territory with the introduction of CoolIT radiators to our rackmount chassis. Hello, liquid cooling!
This year the iStarUSA team also traveled far and wide to showcase our products, from Germany to Indianapolis, round about to our next door neighbor, Las Vegas. We made plenty of new friends and contacts and had ourselves a good time to boot. In closing, here's a grand shout out to those we met at ISC West, NAB Show, CES, AES, CEDIA, and G2E. It's been a
