This drive case is compatible with any standard 2.5" SATAIII HDD/SSD between 7mm to 9mm high and an available 3.5" internal drive space.

The BPX-35U3-SA includes a USB 3.0 cable which transmits at 5 Gbps vs the USB 2.0 at 480 Mbps. This means that you can transfer data at high rate of speed. On top of that, since it doesn need too much power to run, the USB 3.0 provides enough power to the drive case to run the 2.5" HDD/SSD. This is a huge plus since this is designed to be lightweight and portable, all the cables you will need to bring with you is the USB 3.0 cable.
